Election Information

Please find below some important dates and information regarding the upcoming November 3, 2020 election in Harris County.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our offices. 

  • Governor Greg Abbott has extended the dates for early voting due to COVID -19. Early Voting will begin one week early starting October 13th.  Harris County is currently planning for 100 Early Voting locations and expects to have a list of locations by next week.
    • Harris County dates and hours as of today. May be subject to change
      • Tuesday October 13th – Saturday October 17th 7:00am – 7:00 pm
      • Sunday October 18th – 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
      • Monday October 19th – Saturday October 24th – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
      • Sunday October 25th – 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
      • Monday October 26th – Thursday October 29th – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
      • Friday October 30th – 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Election Day is November 3rd 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. Harris County is planning for 800 Election Day locations and is expecting to have a list of locations by next week.  This list is likely to change or be incomplete and will finalize much closer to Election Day. 
  • Polling locations will be listed on Harris County’s website at harrisvotes.com when they are available.
  • The last day to register to vote is Monday October 5th.
